The Sky-Dweller runs a complicated annual calendar with dual time; the Datejust runs a simpler date-only workhorse, and unless you travel internationally, the complications are wasted.

Picking between these two is less about which is “better” and more about which one fits the way you live. The Sky-Dweller earns its premium if you’ll actually use the complications. The Datejust earns its place by adapting to almost any situation.
