The Patek Philippe 5070 was, when introduced, the first ‘simple’ chronograph by this brand in about 4 decades. It was originally launched in version with yellow gold case and black dial; in 2001 it was accompanied by a red gold and white gold version. The yellow 5070J was discontinued in 2004, while the latter two made it to 2008.
