Bearing the Apollo XVII mission patch on its 9 o’clock subdial, the Omega Speedmaster Apollo XVII was created as part of the Speedmaster Missions series to commemorate the sixth and final moon landing, a mission accomplished from August December 7 to December 19, 1972 by Eugene A. Cernan, Ronald B. Evans, and Harrison A. Schmitt.
