The Tudor Royal is a sport-chic dress watch with an integrated metal bracelet, introduced when Tudor launched the Royal collection in 2020. Reference M28603-0006 is the 41mm day-date version in two-tone steel and yellow gold, fitted with a champagne dial carrying diamond hour markers. It is a time-and-calendar watch, showing hours, minutes, seconds, the day of the week at 12 o’clock, and the date at 3 o’clock.
The Royal launched first in Asian markets in mid-2020 and became available worldwide from November 2020. It was positioned as an accessible integrated-bracelet line within Tudor’s catalogue, sitting below the Black Bay and Pelagos lines on price and using outsourced Tudor-branded base calibres rather than the in-house Manufacture movements.
At launch the collection spanned four case sizes, 28mm, 34mm, 38mm, and 41mm. The 41mm was the largest and the only size to carry the full day-date layout. This reference pairs that 41mm case with the two-tone steel and yellow gold construction and the champagne diamond dial.

The dial is champagne coloured with a sunray finish that radiates from the centre. The hour markers combine applied yellow gold-tone Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 with eight round brilliant-cut diamonds set at the remaining hour positions. A printed minute track runs around the outer edge of the dial.
The hour and minute hands are yellow gold-tone sword shapes with luminous filling, and the central seconds hand is a thin yellow gold-tone stick. A day-of-the-week aperture sits at 12 o’clock with the day spelled out in full, and a framed date window sits at 3 o’clock.
Printed dial text includes the Tudor shield logo with the TUDOR GENEVE signature below the day aperture, and SWISS MADE at the base of the dial.
The case is round, measures 41mm in diameter, and stands roughly 10.6mm tall. Its surfaces combine polished and satin finishing. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.
The bezel is notched, in yellow gold over a steel core, with alternating cut grooves and polished sections. It is fixed and decorative, not a rotating or timing bezel. A screw-down winding crown, also yellow gold-capped and engraved with the Tudor logo, sets the time, day, and date and seals the case when tightened.
The crystal is sapphire and the caseback is solid and screwed down.
The bracelet is an integrated five-row design in 316L stainless steel with yellow gold-capped centre links. The outer and central links are satin-brushed and the intermediate links are polished, producing a two-tone effect that matches the case.
The bracelet is closed by a folding clasp with a safety catch. Because the bracelet is integrated into the case, it does not use a standard lug fitting, and the stock bracelet is the only bracelet designed for the reference.
The watch runs on the Tudor calibre T603, a self-winding mechanical movement based on the Sellita SW240. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), holds a 38-hour power reserve, and Tudor documents it with 25 jewels.
Functions are hours, minutes, central seconds, day of the week at 12 o’clock, and date at 3 o’clock. The movement is not COSC certified; Tudor describes it as offering chronometer performance without carrying the certification.
To operate the watch, unscrew the crown, then set the time, day, and date through the crown’s pulled positions before screwing it back down to restore water resistance.
The case is stainless steel. The yellow gold elements, the bezel, the crown, and the bracelet centre links, are steel cores finished with an 18 ct yellow gold cap rather than solid gold, following Tudor’s published material description of steel covered by a yellow gold cap.
The crystal is sapphire. The dial furniture uses yellow gold-tone Roman numerals and hands, with eight brilliant-cut diamonds set as hour markers. The bracelet is 316L stainless steel with gold-capped centre links, and the clasp is steel.

The Royal has carried the standard Tudor retail presentation box throughout its run, with no reference-specific commemorative packaging. A generic or service-replacement box on a full-set example means the original retail box and sleeve are not present, which is relevant when a set is described as complete.
This reference was covered by Tudor’s five-year international guarantee, which applies to all Tudor watches sold since 2020. The guarantee is transferable and requires no registration or periodic maintenance checks. Coverage is recorded on the Tudor guarantee card, a plastic card with an embedded NFC chip that links to the watch’s details through Tudor Watch ID. The card is valid only when completed, stamped, and dated by an official Tudor retailer at the time of sale, and it must be presented with the watch for any guarantee service.

For a 2025-sold example, the five-year guarantee runs into 2030, so an unworn full-set watch from this era retains active factory coverage. The stamped and dated guarantee card is the primary piece of documentation for a full set, and a blank or missing card is a gap for resale purposes.
Tudor redesigned the Royal collection for 2026, moving to new 30mm, 36mm, and 40mm case sizes and COSC-certified Manufacture calibres under new reference numbers. The original generation, including the 41mm M28603 references, is not part of the current catalogue. The 41mm size was not carried over into the redesign.
At 41mm wide and about 10.6mm tall, the Royal is a large watch that sits relatively flat, so it slides under a cuff more easily than its diameter suggests. Independent measurement puts the lug-to-lug span at around 47mm.
The integrated bracelet flows straight off the case with a taper, which keeps the watch settled on the wrist. The 41mm case and full day-date layout suit medium to larger wrists and a smart-casual to formal setting. Smaller wrists are better served by the 34mm or 38mm sizes from the same generation.
