With aesthetics echoing that of a compass, Velsheda offers a minimalistic display of time, using a single blued-steel hand to indicate hours and minutes. Two superimposed ‘topping tool’ motifs – one displaying seconds, the other the hub of the double-ended hand – overlap, creating ever-changing patterns that bring the dial to life.The Velshida movement is based on the Vaucher 3002, though all functions save for the hours have been dropped. The present example has a red gold case with a bezel set with 46 baguette diamonds totaling 2.16 carat. The crown is set with a 0.2 Top Wesselton.
