The Submariner 16610 LV was introduced in 2003 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Submariner. It features a distinct green bezel. During its life span various small changes in the dial and bezel were made, leading to collectors referring to the different models with a ‘Mark 1’ etc designation.Pictured is the Mark 6, distinguished from later versions by its ‘Swiss Made’ designation falling between the 28′ and 32′ markers, round ‘O’ in ‘Rolex’, alignment of the ‘R’ in ‘Oyster’ under the left foot of the ‘Rolex’ ‘R’ and the ‘pointed four’ in 40 on the bezel.
