The Sky-Dweller is Rolex’s annual calendar and dual time zone watch, built for travellers who need to track a home time zone and a local time zone at the same time and let the date manage itself through the year. Reference 336934 is the White Rolesor version of the model: an Oystersteel case and bracelet paired with an 18k white gold fluted bezel.
The 336xxx generation was introduced at Watches and Wonders 2023, replacing the earlier 326xxx series that had run since the model’s debut at Baselworld 2012. The update brought the caliber 9002 in place of the caliber 9001, along with redesigned dials carrying rectangular index markers and longer hands.
Mint green was one of the new dial colours introduced on the White Rolesor 336934 at that 2023 launch, alongside white, blue, and bright black. The dial is mint green with a sunray-brushed finish that shifts in tone with the angle of the light. A thin white minute track runs around the outer edge. The printed dial text reads SKY-DWELLER, OYSTER PERPETUAL, SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER, OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED, with the Rolex coronet and name below 12 o’clock.
Hour markers are applied 18k white gold in a rectangular baton form, filled with Chromalight luminescent material. The hour, minute, and seconds hands are also white gold and Chromalight-filled, and the Chromalight display glows blue in low light.
The second time zone is read on an off-centre rotating 24-hour disc set into the dial, with a fixed inverted red triangle marking the reference time. The current month is shown by a red rectangle appearing in one of 12 apertures positioned next to the hour markers around the circumference. The date sits at 3 o’clock under a Cyclops lens.
The case is the 42 mm Oyster design in Oystersteel, with a monobloc middle case, a screw-down solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown. The case measures 42 mm in diameter and 13.8 mm in height.
The crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire with anti-reflective coating and a Cyclops lens over the date, itself carrying a double anti-reflective coating. The crown uses the Twinlock double waterproofness system. Water resistance is 100 metres.
The bezel is 18k white gold, fluted and polished, and bidirectional rotatable. It is not decorative alone: it is the Rolex Ring Command bezel, which interacts with the winding crown and the movement to select which function is being set. Turning the bezel puts the watch into the mode for setting the local time, the reference time, or the annual calendar, after which the crown makes the adjustment.
The bracelet is the three-piece solid link Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel, with polished centre links and brushed outer links. On this generation the bracelet uses a concealed attachment system beneath the bezel for a continuous transition from case to bracelet.
The clasp is a folding Oysterclasp. It carries the Easylink rapid extension system, which allows the wearer to lengthen the bracelet by approximately 5 mm without tools.

The movement is the Rolex caliber 9002, an in-house automatic. It is a bidirectional self-winding movement via a Perpetual rotor, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours and 46 jewels.
Functions are centre hour, minute, and seconds hands for local time, with independent rapid setting of the hour hand; a reference time zone on the off-centre 24-hour disc; the Saros instantaneous annual calendar with the date at 3 o’clock and the month shown via the 12 apertures; and a stop-seconds function for precise setting.
The caliber 9002 uses the Chronergy escapement, made of anti-magnetic nickel-phosphorus, a blue Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers. It carries the Superlative Chronometer certification, which specifies a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing.
Setting is done through the Ring Command bezel. Rotating the bezel selects the function, then the crown adjusts it: local time, reference time, or the annual calendar date, with the month advancing automatically as the calendar runs.
The case and bracelet are Oystersteel, Rolex’s corrosion-resistant steel from the 904L family. The bezel is 18k white gold, as are the applied hour markers and the hands. The pairing of Oystersteel with white gold is Rolex’s White Rolesor combination.
The crystal is sapphire with anti-reflective coating. The luminescent material on the markers and hands is Chromalight, which emits a blue glow. The clasp is Oystersteel.

Reference 336934 has shipped in Rolex’s modern large green presentation box generation since its 2023 launch. Variation at resale comes from service replacement rather than a factory box change during the run. For a full-set listing, the retail presentation box, cushion, and document holder should be present and era-correct.
The reference is covered by Rolex’s 5-year international guarantee, which has applied to new Rolex purchases since July 2015. Coverage is documented on the credit-card-format guarantee card, which is dated and activated by the authorised dealer at the point of sale. For a 2024 purchase, the guarantee runs five years from that sale date.

At 42 mm across and 13.8 mm tall, the Sky-Dweller wears larger than its diameter alone suggests, mostly because of case thickness and the width of the fluted bezel, which narrows the dial opening relative to the overall footprint. Media measurements put the lug-to-lug at roughly 50.5 mm.
It suits wrists around 7 inches and up comfortably. On a 6.5-inch wrist it is wearable but noticeable, and below that the case proportions become a limiting factor. The case profile slopes down at the lugs, which helps it clear a shirt cuff, though the thickness is still felt.

Neighbouring reference: the earlier 326934 is the previous-generation White Rolesor Sky-Dweller, running the caliber 9001 with the older dial layout. It is a separate reference and its specifications do not carry across to the 336934.
