The Rolex Deepsea Challenge reference 126067 is a professional divers’ watch rated to a depth of 11,000 metres (36,090 feet), the highest water resistance of any watch in the Rolex catalogue. It was introduced in November 2022 as part of the permanent Rolex Deepsea line.
The watch is the first Rolex produced in RLX titanium, a grade 5 titanium alloy. Its design descends from the experimental Deepsea Challenge that was fixed to the hull of James Cameron’s submersible during his 2012 solo dive to the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench, and from the earlier Deep Sea Special experiments of the 1950s and 1960s.
Compared with that experimental piece, which was built in 904L steel, the commercial 126067 is about 30 per cent lighter. It sits at the top of the brand’s dive range as a regular-production model rather than a limited edition.

The dial is matte black with a Chromalight display, and the reference carries no date window. Hour markers are applied white gold in a mix of triangle, circle and rectangle shapes, and both markers and hands are filled with luminescent material that emits a blue glow in low light.
The hour hand is the Mercedes style used across the brand’s dive line, paired with a broad minute hand and a slim seconds hand. The marker at 12 o’clock is an inverted triangle and the marker at 6 o’clock is a rectangle, giving orientation underwater.
Printed text runs in three lines below 12 o’clock (the coronet, ROLEX, and OYSTER PERPETUAL) and four lines above 6 o’clock (DEEPSEA CHALLENGE, the 36090ft = 11000m depth rating, and the SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED designation). SWISS MADE sits at the base of the dial, and the flange is engraved with references to the gas escape valve and the Ring Lock System.
The case measures 50 mm in diameter and is made from RLX titanium, with a monobloc middle case and screw-down caseback and winding crown. Most surfaces carry a satin (brushed) finish, including the sides of the links and case, with chamfered, polished top edges along the lugs. Media measurements put the case height at about 23 mm and the lug-to-lug span at about 61 mm.
Water resistance is rated to 11,000 metres (36,090 feet). This is achieved with the Rolex Ringlock system: a nitrogen-alloyed steel compression ring inside the case works with a domed 9.5 mm sapphire crystal and an RLX titanium caseback, both of which flex slightly inward under pressure to increase the seal. Each watch is pressure-tested with a 25 per cent margin, to the equivalent of 13,750 metres.
The winding crown uses the screw-down Triplock system and is protected by a crown guard, and a helium escape valve sits on the left side of the case to release gas during decompression. The caseback is engraved with the words Mariana Trench and the dates 23-01-1960 and 26-03-2012, marking the Trieste descent and James Cameron’s dive.
The bezel is a unidirectional rotatable diving bezel with a 60-minute graduated black Cerachrom insert, the numerals and graduations coated in platinum by PVD. Turning it against the minute hand lets a diver track elapsed dive and decompression time, and the one-way action means an accidental knock can only shorten the indicated time, not extend it.
The watch is fitted with a three-piece link Oyster bracelet in RLX titanium, finished to match the case with a satin grain across the links. It attaches to a folding Oysterlock safety clasp designed to prevent accidental opening.
The clasp carries two extension systems that need no tools. The Rolex Glidelock system allows fine length adjustment in small increments, and the Fliplock extension link adds a further 26 mm when unfolded.
Used together, the two systems let the bracelet be worn over a diving suit up to 7 mm thick, or dialled back for a close fit on the wrist. This reference is sold on the RLX titanium Oyster bracelet.
The 126067 is powered by the Rolex calibre 3230, an in-house automatic movement introduced in 2020. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), holds 31 jewels, and has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
The movement uses the Chronergy escapement, made in nickel-phosphorus so it is unaffected by magnetic fields, together with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. It is a Superlative Chronometer, certified by COSC and then tested again by Rolex after casing to a rate of -2/+2 seconds per day.
Functions are limited to centre hours, minutes and seconds, with no date. A stop-seconds function halts the seconds hand for precise setting. To set the time, unscrew the Triplock crown, pull it to the setting position, adjust the hands, then push it back and screw it down to restore water resistance.

Because of the 50 mm case, the watch ships in one of Rolex’s larger boxes rather than the standard sport-model box. The warranty card is the primary authenticity document for a full set, and a dated, dealer-stamped card is expected on an example sold from new.

The presentation format changed once during the run, around 2024 to early 2025, when the cream outer carton was replaced by a green one and the box moved to a revised recycled-material build. Both boxes are correct, each for its own window: an earlier example belongs in the cream-carton green box, and a 2025-or-later example in the green-carton box. A full set is judged partly on the box matching the watch’s year, so a wrong-era box, or a plain service box issued after a repair, does not match the original presentation.
Sold new, the 126067 carries Rolex’s five-year international guarantee, which has applied to all Rolex watches purchased since July 2015. Coverage runs from the date recorded on the guarantee card and is honoured through the brand’s official service network worldwide. The guarantee is issued as a green credit-card-format card with an electronic NFC system, showing the reference, serial number and purchase date, and activated by the retailer at the point of sale.

The card format changed once during the run, around mid-April 2026, from the smooth green card to the textured wood-grain green card, while the coverage stayed at five years. Because the reference launched in November 2022, the earliest examples remain within the original five-year window until late 2027, and examples sold in 2024 and later are covered into the second half of the decade. A full set is expected to include the original dated card matching the watch’s year; a missing or blank card is a gap for a set sold as complete.

The reference remains part of the current Rolex Deepsea line and is listed on the brand’s official catalogue.
On paper and on the wrist this is one of the largest watches Rolex makes. The case is 50 mm across, roughly 23 mm tall, and about 61 mm lug-to-lug, so it covers a wide wrist fully and overhangs a narrow one.
Titanium construction is what makes those dimensions workable. The full watch weighs around 250 grams, far less than a steel case of the same size would, so the presence is visual rather than a constant drag on the wrist.
It suits large wrists, roughly 7.5 inches and above, worn as a dive tool or large sports watch rather than under a cuff. The Glidelock and Fliplock systems give a wide sizing range, which helps a watch this tall sit securely. For most dress or office settings the height and diameter are impractical, which is consistent with its purpose as an extreme dive instrument.
The 126067 is produced in a single configuration: a 50 mm RLX titanium case on an RLX titanium Oyster bracelet, a matte black dial without a date, a black Cerachrom diving bezel with platinum-coated graduations, and the calibre 3230 movement.
