The Oyster Perpetual 41 reference 124300 is a time-only, no-date automatic watch in the Oyster Perpetual line, Rolex’s most pared-back Oyster model. It shows hours, minutes and seconds and nothing else, in a waterproof steel Oyster case on a steel Oyster bracelet.
Rolex introduced the 124300 in September 2020 as part of a full refresh of the Oyster Perpetual range. It replaced the previous 39 mm reference (114300) and became the first Oyster Perpetual offered at a 41 mm case size. The same 2020 update fitted the movement calibre 3230 and introduced a set of lacquered dial colours alongside the traditional silver, black and blue.
This specific configuration carries the turquoise blue lacquered dial, widely referred to by the nickname “Tiffany” after the similar shade used by the jeweller of that name. Rolex’s own designation for the colour is turquoise blue.
At launch the reference sat at the entry point of the Oyster steel Rolex range as a regular production model, not a limited edition.

The dial is a solid turquoise blue with a glossy lacquered finish and no date aperture, giving a symmetrical time-only layout. The base colour is uniform across the surface rather than sunburst or gradient.
Hour markers are applied metal batons at the hours, with a longer double baton at 12, filled with Chromalight luminescent material. The hands are a matching baton style for the hour and minute, with a straight seconds hand, also carrying Chromalight. Chromalight emits a blue glow in the dark.
Printed dial text reads ROLEX beneath the coronet at 12, then OYSTER PERPETUAL, with SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED above 6. SWISS MADE is printed at the base of the dial below the 6 marker. A minute track runs around the outer edge.
The case is a round 41 mm Oyster case in Oystersteel with the line’s mix of surface finishes: a brushed top to the lugs and case sides with polished flanks, and a polished bezel. The lugs are relatively short and slope downward toward the wrist.
Media measurements of the case place thickness at approximately 11.7 mm and lug-to-lug at approximately 47.5 mm; Rolex publishes the 41 mm diameter but not the other case figures. The crystal is a flat scratch-resistant sapphire with no date magnifier.
The crown is a screw-down winding crown using Rolex’s Twinlock double waterproofness system. The caseback is solid and screwed down. Water resistance is 100 metres (330 feet).
The bezel is a smooth, domed, polished steel bezel. It is fixed and has no timing or measurement function; it is a plain decorative bezel rather than a working complication.
The watch is fitted with a three-link Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel. The outer links are brushed and the construction uses flat three-piece links, tapering from the case toward the clasp.
The clasp is a folding Oysterclasp with the Easylink comfort extension. Easylink allows the wearer to lengthen the bracelet by approximately 5 mm without tools for a quick fit adjustment.
The lug width is 21 mm. This reference was sold on the Oyster bracelet as its standard and only factory bracelet configuration.
The 124300 is powered by Rolex calibre 3230, a self-winding mechanical movement developed and manufactured in-house. It is a time-only calibre providing centre hours, minutes and seconds, with a stop-seconds function for precise setting.
The movement runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), holds 31 jewels, and carries a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. Winding is bidirectional through a Perpetual rotor.
Notable features include the patented Chronergy escapement in nickel-phosphorus, which is resistant to magnetic fields, a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers. The watch is a Superlative Chronometer, certified to a rate of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, in addition to the COSC chronometer certification of the movement.
Operation is straightforward: unscrew the crown, pull to the setting position to set the time (the seconds hand stops), then push back and screw down against the case to restore water resistance. There is no date and no other complication to set.
Case and bracelet: Oystersteel, Rolex’s designation for a 904L-type stainless steel alloy chosen for corrosion resistance and its ability to hold a polish.

Overall the watch is a single-metal steel construction with a lacquered dial, built entirely around Rolex’s Oystersteel and standard Oyster case components rather than any precious metal or ceramic element.

A 2022 example of this reference is the older-version box: cream and beige outer with the lighter-green Oyster presentation box. The deeper-green newer packaging appeared only from late 2024 into 2025 and varied by market, so a 2022 watch presented in the newer box is not era-correct for a full set. Full-set completeness rests on the original booklets, tags and seal material accompanying the era-correct box.
Watches from this reference’s sales period carried Rolex’s five-year international guarantee, applicable to Rolex purchases since the July 2015 extension from the earlier two-year term. Coverage was recorded on a green plastic, credit-card-style International Guarantee card, dated and dealer-activated at point of sale. This card is the primary authenticity document for the full set.

A 2022 example carries the newer-version card: the predominantly green International Guarantee card with electronically recorded registration. The earlier white-and-green gold-edged card applies only to the 2020 launch overlap. As of 2026 the original five-year guarantee on a 2022-sold example has expired or is close to expiry depending on the exact sale date. A stamped, dated original card remains relevant to full-set completeness and authenticity regardless of remaining coverage; a blank, undated or photocopied card is a documentation red flag.
The turquoise blue dial on the 41 mm reference was removed from the Rolex catalogue in 2022, after roughly two years of availability, while other dial colours in the 124300 continued. The 124300 reference as a whole was later replaced by the reference 134300 for the Oyster Perpetual 41. The turquoise blue dial remained available in smaller Oyster Perpetual sizes after its withdrawal at 41 mm.
Despite the 41 mm designation, the case measures closer to 39 to 40 mm across the bezel and wears smaller than the number suggests. The short, downward-sloping lugs and a lug-to-lug of about 47.5 mm keep it sitting compactly on the wrist.
At roughly 11.7 mm thick with a flat sapphire and a slim bezel, the profile is low and slips under a cuff without difficulty. The all-steel Oyster bracelet adds weight and a balanced feel.
The size suits wrists of about 6.5 inches and up, with smaller wrists better served by the 36 mm Oyster Perpetual. As a no-date, time-only steel watch, it works as an everyday piece across casual and smarter settings, with the turquoise dial being the main point of visual character.
Across every example the constants are the 41 mm Oystersteel Oyster case, the smooth domed polished steel bezel, the Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp and Easylink, the flat sapphire crystal, and calibre 3230. What changes across the reference is the dial.
Dials
Turquoise blue, coral red and yellow were discontinued at 41 mm in 2022. Green and the Celebration dial were part of the later catalogue for the reference. This example carries the turquoise blue dial.
