Only ever available in precious metals (save for a few prototypes), it was for many years the undisputed king of the Rolex collection and the singular most recognizable ‘expensive’ watch to the general public. In its present form, the case measures the traditional 36mm. It is driven by caliber 3155.Reference 118348-0008 has a yellow gold case with diamond-set bezel, and a grey dial with diamond-set hour markers.
