The “Wimbledon” dial is slate grey with a sunray finish that shifts tone with the light. Hour markers are Roman numerals outlined in green, the detail that gives the configuration its nickname. The 9 o’clock position carries a luminous rectangular index with Chromalight fill rather than a numeral, and the 3 o’clock position is given over to the date window.
The centre hands are white gold, polished, with Chromalight luminescent fill on the hour and minute hands. An applied Rolex crown sits at 12 o’clock. A printed minute track runs around the dial perimeter with Arabic numerals every five minutes.
The date is displayed at 3 o’clock and magnified by the Cyclops lens set into the crystal. Printed dial text reads ROLEX, OYSTER PERPETUAL, DATEJUST above centre, and SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED with SWISS MADE below.
The case is the round Oyster form in 41 mm diameter, built on a monobloc middle case with a screw-down case back and screw-down crown. Surfaces are polished across the lugs and case sides. Rolex does not publish a thickness figure; independent measurement places it at approximately 11.9 mm.
The crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire with a Cyclops lens over the date. The winding crown is screw-down and uses the Twinlock double waterproofness system. The case back is solid and screw-down. Water resistance is 100 metres (330 feet).

The presentation box moved to the updated generation around 2023. Authorised dealer inventory overlaps across the changeover, so a watch from around the transition may legitimately carry either packaging generation without indicating a mismatched set. For a 2025 or 2026 full set, the updated generation is the current-era packaging.
The watch is sold with Rolex’s five-year international guarantee, the standard coverage for purchases since July 2015. On current examples the guarantee is recorded on a Rolex warranty card that is electronically activated at purchase. That activated card is the primary authenticity document for a full set.
