The Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Titanio is Panerai’s professional dive watch in a 47mm brushed titanium case. It uses the cushion shaped Submersible 1950 case, the patented crown protecting bridge, a rotating dive bezel, and the in-house P.9010 automatic caliber with a three day power reserve.
The reference was unveiled at SIHH 2017 as one of a group of Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic models introduced that year around the P.9010 movement. It updated the earlier PAM00305, keeping the 1950 case and dive bezel while moving to the P.9010 caliber and a solid titanium caseback.
Within the range it was the standard titanium 47mm Submersible of its generation, positioned as a full sized tool diver. It was later carried under the renamed Submersible collection and eventually succeeded by the PAM02305.
Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days 47mm Black Dial Titanium FULL SET MINT CONDITION PAM01305
This Panerai watch features a beautiful design with round and stick indexes, a date display, sub-seconds, skeleton hands, and minimal text. The…
The dial is black with a matte finish. Hour markers are applied and luminous, with round dot markers at most positions and baton markers at 6 and 12 o’clock. The main hands are skeletonized steel with luminous fill on the hour and minute hands.

A small running seconds sub-dial sits at 9 o’clock with a blued steel hand and luminous indexes, and a date aperture sits at 3 o’clock. Printed dial text reads LUMINOR SUBMERSIBLE below 12 o’clock and PANERAI with Automatic above 6 o’clock, with the SWISS MADE line at the base of the dial.
The blued small seconds hand is the clearest visual marker separating this P.9010 generation from the earlier P.9000 version of the case, which used a matching tone for the sub-seconds.
The case is a cushion shaped 47mm Submersible 1950 case in brushed titanium, with straight lugs and the patented Panerai crown protecting bridge on the right flank. The crown protecting device uses a hinged lever that clamps the crown against the case for water resistance.

The crystal is sapphire. The caseback is a solid screw down titanium unit with an engraved signature. Water resistance is 300 metres (30 bar).
The bezel is brushed titanium with polished edges and rotates unidirectionally in the anti-clockwise direction. It carries a graduated scale with an engraved 15 minute zone and convex dot markers at five minute intervals, used to track elapsed immersion time by aligning the reference marker with the minute hand at the start of a dive.
This reference is fitted on a black rubber (caoutchouc) strap. The strap attaches to the case with screw bars at the lugs.

The buckle is a titanium tang buckle. The strap and buckle are the standard fitment for this reference.
The 47mm Submersible case uses a 26mm lug width, so replacement straps follow the 47mm Submersible sizing rather than the narrower 44mm Panerai fitment.
The movement is the Panerai P.9010, an automatic caliber made in house. It runs at 28,800 alternations per hour, carries 31 jewels, and uses two mainspring barrels for a three day (72 hour) power reserve. Winding is bidirectional through the automatic rotor.
Functions are hours, minutes, small seconds, and date, with the rotating bezel used to calculate immersion time. The P.9010 has a hacking seconds function that stops the balance when the crown is pulled, and a device that advances or sets back the hour hand in one hour steps without stopping the movement, which allows the local hour and the date to be reset while the seconds keep running.
The crown must be released from the protecting bridge before it can be pulled out for setting, then clamped shut again to restore water resistance. The small seconds runs continuously in the sub-dial at 9 o’clock.
The case, bezel, caseback, crown, and crown protecting bridge are titanium, brushed to a matte grey finish. Titanium is lighter than steel and resists corrosion, which suits a dive watch of this size. The crystal is sapphire.
The strap is black vulcanized rubber and the buckle is titanium. The applied dial markers and hands carry luminous fill for low light reading.
Overall the watch is a full titanium tool build, lighter on the wrist than a steel case of the same size, paired with a rubber strap and a sapphire crystal.
A full set for this reference’s era typically includes:
Because the strap on this case is secured with screw bars, the strap fitting screwdriver is the reference relevant tool to look for in a full set. The guarantee card and box materially affect a full-set listing, and a watch head only example should be identified as such.
Older version (2017 to 2018)
Newer version (2019 to 2023)
The box moved from the earlier pearwood era presentation to the modern presentation set around 2019, in step with the Pam.Guard registration system. Because the two box styles can look alike, the papers and warranty ecosystem are the clearer indicator of which era a set belongs to. A later or generic Panerai box on an early example indicates a service replacement or a re-box rather than the original era presentation, which is relevant when a listing is described as a full set.
At the time of sale this reference carried Panerai’s standard international limited warranty of 24 months (two years) from the date of purchase, valid provided the guarantee card was signed and dated by an authorized dealer. Early examples were documented on a physical guarantee card with the matching serial number. Coverage excluded normal wear and misuse, and unauthorized third party service voided it.
Older version (2017 to 2018)
Newer version (2019 to 2023)
An example sold in 2017 or 2018 falls in the pre-Pam.Guard generation, and its coverage traces to the original papers and card. An example sold from 2019 onward falls in the Pam.Guard generation, where the extension to eight years depends on whether the original owner registered the watch. The original two year guarantee has expired on the earlier examples, and any remaining coverage runs from a Pam.Guard registration or from a subsequent Panerai service rather than from the original card. The stamped and dated card functions as authenticity documentation for a full set regardless of whether coverage is still active.
This reference is discontinued. It was the titanium 47mm Submersible of its generation before the case moved to updated references.
At 47mm this is a large watch with strong wrist presence, in line with the Submersible 1950 case. The cushion case and minimal bezel give the dial a wide, open appearance, and the case measures roughly 16mm thick and around 57mm lug to lug on examples that have been measured.

The titanium case keeps the weight down relative to a steel case of the same size, and the rubber strap suits the dive watch character and larger diameter. The straight lugs and the 1950 case shape help the watch sit on a mid to larger wrist despite the size.
It suits a wearer who wants a full sized titanium dive or tool watch, worn casually or for water use rather than under a cuff. It is best suited to larger wrists given the 47mm case and the crown protecting bridge on the side.
This reference exists in a single configuration: a brushed titanium 47mm Submersible 1950 case, a solid titanium screw down caseback, a brushed titanium unidirectional dive bezel, a black dial with applied luminous markers and a blued small seconds hand, the in-house P.9010 automatic caliber, and a black rubber strap with a titanium tang buckle.
Neighboring references:
The predecessor PAM00305 shares the 47mm case but uses the earlier P.9000 caliber and a display caseback. The later PAM02305 succeeded this reference under the renamed Submersible collection. The PAM01389 is the anti-magnetic titanium sibling launched alongside this reference. These are separate references, and their specifications do not carry across to the PAM01305.
