The Omega Speedmaster reference 311.30.42.30.01.002 was introduced in 2009 as a ‘limited edition’ of 7969 pieces commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission. It features the regular stainless ‘Moonwatch’ case with hesalite crystal and a closed caseback; the black dial features the Apollo 11 patch at the 9 o’clock subdial.
