The Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.60.42.50.10.001 is the solid gold, green dial version of Omega’s hand-wound Moonwatch chronograph. It takes the standard 42 mm Professional case and executes it entirely in 18K Moonshine Gold, Omega’s proprietary pale yellow gold alloy, paired with a green dial and a green ceramic bezel.
The reference was introduced in 2022 as part of the Moonwatch Professional line. Its design follows the 4th generation Speedmaster template that NASA-era watches were based on, carried over to the current Co-Axial Master Chronometer generation.
This is regular catalogue production, not a limited edition. Within the green Moonshine Gold family it is the bracelet, Hesalite crystal configuration: the same watch on a green leather strap carries the reference 310.63.42.50.10.001, and a sapphire crystal, display caseback version carries the suffix .002.
It sits at the high end of the Moonwatch Professional range, above the steel and bi-colour models, as the full precious metal expression of the collection.
The dial is a sun-brushed green “step” dial, with the green produced by a PVD coating over the metal base. The stepped format raises the outer dial perimeter and drops the three sub-dials below the main plane, the layout Omega calls the step dial.
Hour markers are applied, blackened indexes with luminous fill. The hands are 18K Moonshine Gold with luminous fill, in the standard Moonwatch style, with a central chronograph seconds hand.
The three registers sit at 9, 3 and 6 o’clock: running small seconds at 9, the 30-minute chronograph counter at 3, and the 12-hour chronograph counter at 6. The sub-dials are 18K Moonshine Gold and carry an azurage pattern that radiates from the centre.

The case is the 42 mm Speedmaster Professional case in solid 18K Moonshine Gold, with the asymmetric right side that shields the crown and pushers, twisted lugs, and a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. The crown and the two chronograph pushers are polished Moonshine Gold.
The front crystal is Hesalite, the domed acrylic crystal used on the historically faithful Moonwatch configuration. The caseback is solid, polished 18K Moonshine Gold with a double bevel and the words FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON engraved in black. Water resistance is 50 metres.
The bezel is a fixed ring set with a green polished ceramic insert. The tachymeter scale is applied in Omega’s Ceragold process, which inlays gold into the ceramic, and includes the “dot over 90” marking. The bezel is decorative and scale-bearing rather than rotating: the tachymeter is read against the central chronograph seconds hand to calculate average speed over a known distance.
This reference ships on a polished and brushed 18K Moonshine Gold bracelet. It tapers from 20 mm at the lugs to 15 mm at the clasp.
The clasp is a vintage-inspired folding clasp in Moonshine Gold, fitted with Omega’s patented comfort release micro-adjustment system. The comfort release provides on-the-wrist extension of roughly 2.30 mm across two positions.
The green leather strap version of this watch is sold under a separate reference, 310.63.42.50.10.001, so an example of 310.60.42.50.10.001 is the gold bracelet build.
The watch runs the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, a hand-wound chronograph movement. It carries 26 jewels, beats at 21,600 vph (3 Hz), and holds a 50-hour power reserve.
The chronograph is cam-actuated with a horizontal (lateral) clutch, the switching architecture carried over from the earlier 861 and 1861 calibres. The movement uses a Co-Axial escapement, a free-sprung balance, and a silicon balance spring, and it is certified as a Master Chronometer to METAS standards, which includes resistance to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. The finish is a luxury execution with Geneva waves, rhodium plating, and gold-plated engravings.
Functions are hours, minutes, running small seconds, and a chronograph reading central seconds, elapsed minutes to 30, and elapsed hours to 12. The chronograph is operated by the two pushers: the top pusher starts and stops, the bottom pusher resets to zero. There is no date and no quickset. On this Hesalite reference the movement sits behind the solid gold caseback and is not visible.
The case, bracelet, crown, pushers, caseback, hands and sub-dials are all 18K Moonshine Gold, an Omega yellow gold alloy introduced in 2019 whose composition includes silver, copper and palladium for a paler hue and greater resistance to colour and lustre fading than standard yellow gold.
The bezel insert is green polished ceramic, with the tachymeter scale inlaid in gold through the Ceragold process. The dial base is metal finished with a green PVD coating. The hour markers are blackened applied indexes with luminous fill.
The front crystal is Hesalite acrylic. The overall material character is a solid precious metal tool chronograph, with ceramic and gold used together on the bezel and a historically faithful acrylic crystal in place of sapphire.

The box moved from the 2023 to 2024 version to a refined 2025 onward version that keeps the same red, gray and black theme with updated materials and a cleaner interior. A 2025 example carries the newer box. On a set sold as complete, the box generation should match the sale date.
Examples sold new carry Omega’s 5-year international warranty, the coverage applied to Master Chronometer pieces for purchases from 1 July 2018 onward. The warranty is documented on an Omega credit-card style warranty card, stamped and dated by the authorised retailer at the point of sale, and the watch also ships with a Master Chronometer certification card.

The 5-year policy is unchanged across both card generations; the difference is in the card security features and cosmetics. A 2025 example carries the newer cards. The 5-year clock runs from the individual sale date, so coverage status depends on when each example was bought. A stamped, dated card is the primary authenticity document for a full set; a blank or unstamped card should be treated with caution.
The watch uses the 42 mm Speedmaster Professional case with a 20 mm lug width, the same footprint as the steel Moonwatch, so it wears the way the classic Speedmaster does in terms of diameter and lug reach.
The difference on the wrist is weight. A solid 18K gold case and full gold bracelet make this substantially heavier than the steel version, which changes the presence of the watch and the way the bracelet sits. The comfort release in the clasp allows small on-the-fly sizing adjustments for fit through the day.
The 42 mm case suits a broad range of wrist sizes, and the green dial with green ceramic bezel against pale gold gives it a dressier register than the steel Moonwatch while keeping the tool chronograph layout. It suits a wearer who wants the Speedmaster design in a precious metal watch rather than a daily steel tool piece.
