The Seamaster Diver 300M is Omega’s core dive watch line, rated to 300 metres and fitted with a helium escape valve for saturation diving. The current generation was unveiled at Baselworld 2018, twenty-five years after the original Seamaster Diver 300M of 1993.
The 2018 redesign reworked the whole collection. It introduced ceramic dials with a laser-engraved wave pattern that echoes the original wave motif, ceramic bezels with enamel scales, a conical helium escape valve at 10 o’clock, a wave-edged sapphire caseback, and the Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8800 in place of the previous movement.
Reference 210.32.42.20.06.001 is one of the stainless steel configurations within that collection: a gray ceramic dial paired with a blue ceramic bezel, fitted to a blue rubber strap. It is a regular-production model within the Seamaster diving line, not a limited or commemorative edition.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Grey Wave Dial Blue Ceramic Bezel Stainless Steel 42mm MINT CONDITION COMPLETE SET 210.32.42.20.06.001
Grey wave dial, ZrO2 ceramic bezel, and professional dive function give it a sporty, modern, and highly collectible ocean ready look. With…
The dial is chrome-colour ceramic (zirconium oxide) finished in sun-brushed gray, with a laser-engraved wave pattern running across the surface and a date window at 6 o’clock.

The hour markers are applied, raised indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova. The hands are blued and skeletonised, also filled with white Super-LumiNova, so markers and hands read gray-blue in daylight and glow white in low light. The central seconds hand is blued to match.
Printed dial text runs in blue. The Omega logo, “Seamaster” and “PROFESSIONAL” sit in the upper half below 12 o’clock, and “CO-AXIAL / MASTER CHRONOMETER / 300m / 1000ft” sits above the date at 6 o’clock.
The case is stainless steel, 42 mm in diameter, round with the collection’s lyre lugs and a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. Published thickness is 13.56 mm and lug-to-lug length is 49.90 mm.

The crystal is a domed sapphire with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The crown is a screw-in type at 3 o’clock, and a conical helium escape valve sits at 10 o’clock. The caseback is a screw-in sapphire display back with the wave-edged profile that identifies the 2018 generation. Water resistance is 300 metres (30 bar).
The bezel is blue ceramic (zirconium oxide) with a white enamel diving scale set into it. It is unidirectional and marks elapsed time against the minute track: the wearer aligns the zero marker with the minute hand at the start of a dive and reads elapsed minutes off the scale.
This reference is fitted with a blue rubber strap with a ribbed profile, shaped to integrate with the case lugs.

The strap closes with a stainless steel pin buckle. The same gray dial and blue bezel combination is also sold on a stainless steel bracelet under a separate reference; this reference is the rubber-strap configuration.
The watch runs the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8800, an in-house automatic movement.
The movement uses Omega’s Co-Axial escapement and a free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring. It is certified Master Chronometer to the METAS standard and is resistant to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss.
Functions are hours, minutes, central seconds, and the date at 6 o’clock. The date is quickset with the crown in its intermediate position, and the time is set with the crown pulled fully out. The dive bezel times an interval independently of the movement.
Ceramic on both the dial and the bezel gives scratch resistance and colour stability, while the steel case is the corrosion-resistant grade Omega uses across the diving range. The overall material character is a steel sports diver with hardwearing ceramic surfaces front and top.

Older version (Gen 1, 2018 to present)
Newer version
This reference uses a single box generation across its run. Representative full sets show the standard wooden-box configuration, so a period-correct full set carries the Gen 1 presentation set regardless of the delivery year. The packaging is standard production, as this is a regular-production model with no commemorative box.
This reference carries Omega’s 5-year international warranty, which applies to Master Chronometer watches sold from 1 July 2018 onward. Coverage runs 60 months from the date of purchase against material and manufacturing defects, and is validated by the dated guarantee card completed by the retailer at the point of sale. The guarantee is issued as a red plastic International Warranty card, alongside a red Pictograms card and a red Master Chronometer card. Master Chronometer test results for the individual watch are also retrievable from Omega’s certification records by serial number.
Older version (Gen 1, 2018 to present)
Newer version
Because the 5-year term runs from the purchase date, a 2025-sold example remains under original Omega warranty into 2030. On the resale market the dated, retailer-stamped International Warranty card is the primary authenticity document for a full set, and a blank or unstamped card does not establish coverage.
At 42 mm across, 13.56 mm thick and 49.90 mm lug to lug, the Diver 300M wears as a full-size modern diver. The 49.90 mm lug-to-lug keeps it within range of most medium and larger wrists, while the thickness reflects the 300 m case and the sapphire display back.

On the blue rubber strap the watch sits lighter than it does on the steel bracelet, and the integrated strap shape follows the wrist. The 20 mm lugs take standard straps. It suits wrists from roughly 6.5 inches upward and works as an everyday sports watch as much as a dive watch.
This reference is a single fixed build: a stainless steel 42 mm case, a gray chrome-colour ceramic dial with laser-engraved waves, a blue ceramic bezel with a white enamel scale, blued Super-LumiNova hands and indexes, a date at 6 o’clock, and the calibre 8800, presented on a blue rubber strap.
