With its round case and straight lugs, the Rotonde de Cartier is one of the brand’s more traditional designs – while retaining many Cartier signature elements. This collection consists primarily of watches with added complications.The Cartier Rotonde Astromystérieux was introduced at SIHH 2016. In a next-level interpretation of the classic ‘mystérieuse’ watches not only the hands, but also a large part of the movement, seemingly float in space. The case measures 43.5mm across and is made of platinum, with the bezel set with 60 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 2.36 carats and a beaded platinum crown set with a brilliant-cut diamond of 0.14 carats. The folding clasp features 37 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 0.85 carats.
