The Clé de Cartier was introduced at SIHH 2015. The case, available in a number of sizes, has a soft profile somewhere in between ’round’ and ‘cushion’. While at first glance the look is not unlike watches from the late sixties and early seventies, both details and finish are distinctively modern and Cartier. It’s name is a reference to the clever locking system of the crown – the ‘key’.Reference HPI00937 has a white gold case set with 192 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 9.42 carats and 48 scissor-cut diamonds totalling 4.45 carats. The white gold dial is set with 224 baguette-cut diamonds totalling 6.60 carats. The white gold bracelet is set with 478 baguette-cut diamonds totalling 19.10 carats.
