Two hundred pieces. That is the entire worldwide run of this Launch Edition Tondagraph GT, the watch that pulled one of Switzerland’s most respected quiet manufactures into the luxury steel sports arena. Collectors chasing something beyond the usual Royal Oak and Nautilus suspects found their answer here: an annual calendar chronograph with a design that nobody else on the planet makes.
Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. The guilloché clou triangulaire texture across the dial remains crisp and untouched, its pyramid pattern shifting between deep black and slate gray depending on how the light hits it. The bezel’s ridges remain sharp and factory-defined, while the semi-integrated bracelet flows seamlessly into the case with flawless brushed and polished transitions. The vivid orange accents on the big date and month displays add a bold pop of color, giving the dial a more dynamic and eye-catching appearance.
Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, a big date, an annual calendar with month display, and a 30-minute chronograph. An annual calendar requires just one date correction per year at the end of February and that’s it. The screw-down crown handles winding, date, and time-setting, while the teardrop pushers start, stop, and reset the chronograph. Powering everything is the in-house Caliber PF043, an automatic movement with a 22k gold rotor visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback.
Comes as a complete set, double-boxed with the outer presentation box, inner watch box, warranty card, warranty card wallet, user guide booklet, and cleaning cloth.
Steel sports watches are everywhere. Annual calendar chronographs limited to 200 pieces are not. Wearing one says you did your homework, skipped the waitlist frenzy, and chose the watch that even seasoned watchmakers recognize from across the room. This one has been waiting for the right collector.
