Introduced in 2019, it was part of Panerai’s first Luminor Marina release to trade the brand’s familiar dark dial look for brushed silver. Picture the rugged, Sylvester Stallone-era Panerai, the action-star favorite that helped put the brand on the Hollywood map in the ’90s, swapping its combat boots for a tailored suit. Same crown-guard swagger, now dressed for the after-party. 

Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. The star of the show is the vertically brushed silver dial, which shifts from warm champagne-silver to cooler grey as the light moves across it. A single splash of Panerai blue on the small-seconds hand keeps the look from feeling too buttoned-up, almost like the horological equivalent of a pocket square. Behind it, the 316L stainless steel case plays brushed surfaces against polished accents, shifting between matte and gloss as the wrist turns. Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, and date. Flip open the signature crown-guard lever, Panerai’s little drawbridge, to free the crown. Pull the crown out to set the time with a stop-seconds (hacking) function for precise adjustment. Nudge the crown to its first position and the hour hand jumps in clean one-hour steps, with the date adjusting along with local time, making time-zone changes simple. It is all powered by Panerai’s in-house P.9010 automatic calibre, with a three-day power reserve stored across twin barrels.
