Few dive watches carry the kind of on screen history that follows the blue Seamaster, the one James Bond has worn since the mid nineties, and this glossy blue Diver 300M is the modern continuation of that same look. It suits the person who wants one watch that feels right at a dinner table and just as right in the water. Omega has since replaced this generation with a larger Master Chronometer model, which leaves the 41mm Co-Axial version here as a discontinued one.

Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. The blue lacquer dial reads almost black in low light and opens into a deep, clean blue the moment it catches the sun. Around it sits a glossy blue ceramic bezel that holds its color permanently and shrugs off the scratches an aluminum insert would have collected years ago. The steel case earns a long look too, with flat brushed surfaces on top and bright polished bevels down the sides, so it moves between matte and mirror as your wrist turns.

Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, and date. The screw-down crown at 3 o’clock unscrews to let you hack the seconds and quick set the date, then threads back down to seal the watch to 300 meters. The bezel turns one direction only and clicks through 60 minutes, which is how a diver tracks elapsed time, while a helium escape valve sits at 10 o’clock for the kind of saturation diving most owners will never attempt. Inside is the Co-Axial chronometer movement, certified for accuracy and good for about two days off the wrist before it needs winding.

Comes as a full set, double boxed, with red international warranty card, Omega card wallet, and  operating instructional booklet.

At 41mm it sits in the size many collectors consider the sweet spot for this design, big enough to wear with intent yet slim enough to slip under a cuff. Turn it over and the engraved seahorse looks back at you, the same emblem Omega has stamped on its Seamasters for decades. Anyone who wants one steel watch that handles the water as easily as a formal dinner tends to fall hard for this one, and a clean complete example of a discontinued reference rarely stays available for long.
