Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. Carved from a single block of grade 5 titanium, the octagonal bezel carries eight hexagonal screws and polished bevels that throw light in a way steel never quite manages. Stamped rather than printed, the Mega Tapisserie grid shifts between navy and slate as the wrist turns, like a tailored suit catching a streetlamp. Flipped over, the sapphire caseback frames an openworked rotor cut with the AP monogram, brushed and bevelled where most would have stopped.

Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and flyback chronograph. Unscrewing the crown on the right side of the case releases three positions. First position winds it by hand, second advances the date at four thirty, and third moves the hands. Above and below it, the upper pusher starts and stops the timing while the lower one clears it. Because the calibre runs a flyback, one press of that lower pusher mid count zeroes and relaunches in a single motion, giving you a hard reset with no reboot. Both strap ends release without tools through the integrated system, then the crown threads back down to hold out 100 metres of water.
