A retro-modern chronograph inspired by the bold design language of the 1970s, expressed through a square steel case and a radiant blue dial with contemporary German precision. Designed for the collector who appreciates vintage inspired design and modern mechanical performance and finishing.
Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. The sunburst blue dial shifts dynamically under light, moving from rich navy tones to vibrant electric blue depending on the angle. Its square stainless steel case blends satin brushing with high-polish accents, allowing light to glide across its curved surfaces with striking contrast. Completing the design, the integrated stainless steel bracelet flows seamlessly from the case, reinforcing the bold sport-luxury aesthetic rooted in 1970s design.
Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, panorama date, and flyback chronograph with 30-minute counter. The pull-out crown on the right side of the case allows for time setting and quick adjustment of the Panorama Date, with the first position used to set the date and the outer position used to set the time. The top right pusher starts and stops the chronograph function, while the bottom right pusher resets the chronograph to zero. At the 9 o’clock subdial, the running seconds display incorporates a discreet power reserve window that shifts from white to black, offering a visual indication of the movement’s remaining energy, while manual winding through the crown can be performed to build reserve and maintain optimal performance. Super-LumiNova gives the hands and hour markers a brilliant glow, making the blue dial extremely readable in low light.
Comes as a full set, double-boxed with watch pillow and travel case, warranty card, and warranty booklet.
Few chronographs combine a true in-house flyback movement with such bold retro-modern geometry and Glashütte Original’s signature Panorama Date. Perfect for someone building a collection that blends vintage inspiration with modern mechanical execution.
