Numbered 1 of just 178 pieces worldwide, the final “Time Eater” closes out the Louis Erard and Konstantin Chaykin trilogy with its most expressive one-eyed beast yet. Inspired by Slavic mythology’s Likho, a single eye stares back from the dial while sharp teeth devour the seconds below. Built for the collector who already owns the heavy hitters and wants something playful, rare, and impossible to find on anyone else’s wrist.
Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. Set against a grey sunray wave guilloche, the convex white hour disc at 12 o’clock catches light beautifully and shifts with every movement of the wrist. Framed by a shiny blue minute ring with white dot markers, the peripheral track adds a pop of electric color that contrasts the silver-toned dial base. Wrapped in exotic black toad leather with blue rabbit leather lining, the strap brings a tactile, organic texture that no ordinary leather can match.
Functions include hours, minutes, and seconds in a regulator display. The crown on the right side of the case winds the movement when pushed in and turned clockwise. Pulling the crown to the outermost position sets the time, moving the central minute hand and the hour disc together while the seconds disc at 6 o’clock stops. Pushing the crown back in releases the seconds and restarts the spinning display. Powered by the automatic Sellita SW266-1 caliber with 31 jewels, approximately 38 hours of power reserve, and water resistance to 50 meters.
Comes as a full set, boxed with felt travel roll, and certificate of authenticity with international warranty.
Three editions, three sellouts, and now the beast that started it all takes its final bow. Piece number 1 of the last 178 ever made is not the kind of thing that circles back around, and the collectors who understand what that means don’t need to be told twice.
