Blacked out by hand in a German atelier and signed Blaken, this is the mountaineer’s Rolex gone full stealth. Ian Fleming wore an Explorer, but this one clearly sides with the villain. Built for Everest and now dressed for midnight, it belongs to the collector who already owns the obvious ones.

Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. Set on a deep black lacquer dial, the 3, 6 and 9 numerals stay bright white gold and catch light while everything around them goes dark. Capped by a smooth DLC bezel, the polished flank throws one clean line of light down the whole 39mm profile. Flowing into a folding clasp stamped with the coronet, the Oyster bracelet carries the same dark finish across every brushed link.

Functions include hours, minutes, seconds. Positioned at 3 o’clock, the screw-down crown releases with a few turns counterclockwise. Wind it by hand in that first position, pull it out one stop to set the time, then push it back in and screw it down to seal everything shut. Caliber 3132 beats inside with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, holding around 48 hours of power reserve. In low light, the batons and both hands glow a cool teal blue.
