Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. Crowned by eight hexagonal screws, a brushed blue ceramic bezel flashes polished edges that sparkle like a Monaco marina at noon. Set against black counters with thin silver rings, a smoked blue “Méga Tapisserie” dial fades from bright blue in the center to near black at the edges, lit up by white gold hour markers and hands. Shaped from black ceramic, the 43mm case pairs crisp brushed surfaces with titanium pushpiece guards and strap links for a sleek, stealthy look. Wrapped in textured blue calfskin with black stitching, the strap finishes with a titanium AP pin buckle.

Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, flyback chronograph and a tachymeter scale. Inside beats AP’s in-house self-winding Calibre 4401 with a column wheel, a vertical clutch and a 70-hour power reserve, backed by water resistance to 100 meters. To set it, turn the blue ceramic screw-down crown at 3 o’clock counterclockwise until it pops out to position 1, then give it 30 to 40 turns if it has been resting. Pull the crown to position 3 and park the hands around 6:30 so the date can change safely. Push the crown in to position 2 and turn it until the date shows yesterday. Pull it back to position 3 and move the hands forward past midnight until today’s date appears, then keep going to the current time. Push the crown in and screw it down tight before any swim. Pressing the top pusher at 2 o’clock starts and stops the chronograph, while the bottom pusher at 4 o’clock resets every chronograph hand to zero. Want a Le Mans pit crew move? Press the bottom pusher while the chronograph is running and the flyback resets and restarts it in one push. Elapsed minutes show at 9 o’clock, elapsed hours at 3 o’clock and running seconds at 6 o’clock.

Comes as a complete set, double-boxed with an Audemars Piguet presentation box, outer box, International Warranty Card, document folio, hang tag and a factory-sealed black rubber strap.
