Presents itself in mint condition with little to no signs of wear. Smoked beige at the centre melts into black at the edge, while a stamped pattern of concentric ripples, developed with guilloché artisan Yann von Kaenel, catches the light like grooves on a vinyl record. Brushed and polished steel frames an octagonal middle case in black ceramic, and the openworked lugs attach only to the bezel, floating above the caseback in a silhouette unique to the Code 11.59 family. Turn it over and a pink gold rotor sweeps across the in-house movement, flashing warm against the cool steel.

Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, chronograph with 30-minute and 12-hour counters, and a tachymeter scale. Pulling the crown out to its first position quick sets the date, and the second position sets the hours and minutes. Pressing the pusher at 2 o’clock starts and stops the chronograph, while the pusher at 4 o’clock resets it, sending every chronograph hand snapping back to zero. Inside, calibre 4401 runs a column wheel and vertical clutch with a 70-hour power reserve, and the hands and hour markers glow green after dark.
